Do you have badminton rackets that you no longer use at home? We have junior clubs in Avon who would love to make use of them so please donate them and give them a new lease of life, inspiring the next generation of players!
They will be regripped and restrung if needed, before being distributed to junior clubs who will make good use of them.
There will be a collection point at the Avon Junior Restricted on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September, and the Avon Senior Restricted on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September, both at Gordano School sports centre, Portishead. Bring your rackets along - and stay to watch some fantastic badminton if you're not competing yourself.
We will also be collecting rackets at the Masters' practice session at Clevedon School sports centre on Sunday 17 September, from 1pm to 4pm.
Alternatively, why not organise a collection at your club and have a representative bring them to the Restricted? If that's not possible, please email contact@avonba.org to make arrangements to donate them.
