An invitation to the Avon Badminton Association AGM

We hope you and your families have remained safe and well during the last 12 months.
It has been a disruptive year for so many people and with limited badminton being played it's been frustrating for many of us. However, with lockdown restrictions starting to ease and the success of our vaccination program, we in Avon are remaining optimistic of starting back to play gradually, with a hopeful return to full play ready for the new season in September. We hope that all of you are looking forward to getting back to your clubs and playing badminton with renewed enthusiasm!
Due to the ongoing Covid lockdown restrictions on large gatherings, the Avon committee have decided that once again, the Avon Badminton Association AGM will be held virtually via a ZOOM meeting on Wednesday 19th May at 7pm.
Please contact your club secretary or email avonbadders@gmail.com for the Zoom link for the meeting.
A few things will need to be voted on, including approval of last year's minutes, positions on the committee, accounts and county affiliation fee. Accordingly, and in due course, club secretaries will receive a proxy/remote voting form to complete and email back to Judy.
